I am well my friend, and you? How is your family? Well, I hope. I look forward to meeting you around these boards. Where do you live? The reason I ask is
because my family is trying to plan a family vacation for this year, and I would really like to visit and speak with a fellow brother whon knows much about
Native American history and customs...you strike me as someone who not only knows those things, but lives them as well.
Reply from shinobinoz: Willi pointed these out. I had missed them. Just got back from enipi (sweat lodge) and wopula (thanful feast). My wife is full-blood. I'm only a small
percentage but chat to understand what the boys at the drum and my kids/family are going through. We do a lot of education in the community and I depend a lot
on the elders here and back home. Being in an urban environemnt - we do not have the luxury of living more traditional. Plenty of barriers. Have had to deal
with the youth getting pulled into hispanic gangs and drugs and such.
